PATAGONIA

Evoking the mythical allure of a pristine and distant land, the word Patagonia comes first from Ferdinand Magellan’s crew, who claimed to have seen a race of giants while exploring the coastline of South America in 1520.  The Patagonia of today, the southern one-third of Chile and Argentina remains largely uninhabited and unexplored.  Countless rivers and lakes team with the most beautiful and aggressive trout on earth that have never seen an artificial fly!  The ancestors of today’s Rainbow and Brown trout introduced as sport fish into Patagonia at the beginning of the 20th century, have spread profusely through out the water system and are waiting for your big, foam, Chernobyl Ant.

Operating out of two locations, Futaleufu and Puerto Cisnes, we offer the widest range of rivers and lakes to make your dreams a reality.

Experienced Guides

"It has been my great pleasure to join Gary on 6 Patagonia fly fishing adventures over the last 18 years.  I keep coming back, not because the fishing is great, although it often is, but because Gary's knowledge of the people and places of Patagonia is unrivaled.  To catch wild trout pristine waters by day and relish the food and culture of the Chilean people by night is an experience not to be missed."   -Kurt Bodily
