The Fishing

Fly Fishing in Chile is similar to fishing in the west, 100 years ago.  Imagine fly fishing on the Madison River in Montana a century ago.  No other anglers to compete with and wild trout that have never been caught. There are thousands of rivers, lakes, ponds and streams in Patagonia, and trout inhabit all of them.  One of our clients described the fishing and scenery as "Hallucinatory"and another explained that it was like "fishing in the Garden of Eden." We agree!

We have over 20 different rivers, lakes and streams that we fish, and they range in all sizes, from 10,000 CFS (cubic feet per second) to small spring creeks and everything in between.  We both float and wade these waters.  We also offer incredible stillwater fishing.  If your goal is to land a monster brown trout on a streamer, we recommend spending some time on our lakes.  Some of which are so remote, they do not have names and the trout residing there have never seen a fly. To this day, we still explore each year before our season starts and we find new amazing locations to take our guests.

Another great thing about fly fishing in Chile is that the summer season is during the winter months in the USA.  Doesn't warm weather and hopper fishing sound nice in January?
